What is Sankalpa ?
Sankalpa is a Sanskrit term that refers to a heartfelt desire, a solemn vow, an intention, or a resolve to do something.
Similar to English concept of a resolution, except that it comes from even deeper within and tends to be an affirmation.
Sankalpa word comes from Sanskrit roots '
San', meaning "a connection with the highest truth," “to become one with”
and
'Kalpa', meaning "vow." “time” “subconscious mind”
Thus, it translates to denote an affirming resolve to do something or achieve something .
Putting an intention or Sankalpa into words gives you something to work with—a guide, mantra, or affirmation, available to you at any time.
Sankalpa, means the resolve to do, that is, to perform to achieve an objective, as a vow or a solemn promise to oneself.
Sankalpa also means concept or idea; It is the determination or the will in the mind which precedes all actions.
Sankalpa i.e. thought, intention, determination or imagination. Sankalpa turn your desires into powerful intentions
